The Dupont Park Adventist Apartments located at 896 Southern Avenue, Southeast in Washington, DC is a 45 unit building providing affordable housing for senior citizens (ages 62 and over) in the Washington, metro area. Our goal is to create a supportive and caring environment, which allows seniors to live life to its fullest potential.
Among its many amenities, you will find wall-to-wall carpeting, individually controlled heat and air conditioning; grab rails in the bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. Each apartment is also equipped with smoke detectors and an emergency alert system. A daily hot lunch is available for the convenience of the seniors. Professional health educators provide weekly health seminars as well as blood pressure reading and other health screenings. A weekly armchair exercise class is also provided.
